Gambas al Ajillo
(Sizzling Shrimp in Garlic)


  • 8/10 Shrimp (medium)
  • 1 oz. Olive oil
  • 4 cloves Garlic , thinly sliced
  • 1 Dried chili pepper - Crushed
  • 1 wedge Lemon
  • Salt

Heat oil in cazuela or small cast iron skillet
Add garlic and let brown slightly
Add chili pepper and shrimp
Season with pinch of salt
Squeeze lemon juice over shrimp and serve sizzling
Note : the shrimp should cook on the way to the table not in the kitchen.
