This wine, another winnerfrom the Martinez Bujanda family owned winery in Rioja is produced fromsingle vineyard Viura grapes grown in the Rioja Alavesa region. The Viuragrape is the best-known white wine grape in Spain made famous by the whitewines of Rueda. Because the vineyard is elevated above the Ebro River ona hillside it enjoys moderate summer temperatures with cool evenings makingfor perfect growing conditions of high quality fruit. The wine is BarrelFermented for six months, which makes for a good structure and pale yellowcolour. Fresh in the nose with honeyed fruit and floral tones this is aterrific seafood wine.
